Dear Lake Tahoe community members, business owners and visitors,
Much in the way that the spring season blooms, bringing with it new growth and opportunities for new experiences, Lake Tahoe Destination Stewardship Council partners have continued to make progress on shared initiatives designed to encourage everyone to take care of Tahoe.
As we look ahead to summer and one of the most popular times to be in Tahoe, I’m excited to share with you some of the great work that is underway. From growing enrollment in the new “Destination Champion” online training platform, to the return of the Emerald Bay Shuttle, new trail access for Class 1 Pedal-assist E-bikes (linked email headline should read “National Forest at Lake Tahoe Expands Access for Class 1 Pedal-Assist E-bikes”), and the continuation of critical funding for stewardship initiatives, our partners are taking big steps to educate and provide tangible services that help enhance both the experience and the stewardship of Tahoe’s communities. Please read our latest newsletter to learn more.
All my best,
Nettie Pardue
Managing Director, Lake Tahoe Destination Stewardship Council
